INTERMEZZO
Sally Rooney (2024)

Sally Rooney and her novels need no introduction, they are phenomenal. Her ability to illustrate what it means to be human is beautiful and honestly heartbreaking. Intermezzo follows four characters, and the way Rooney has written this novel is so different compared to her others. The way she illustrates people’s inner monologues was so great to read, it made me feel so seen and heard as I’m sure it did for many others.

Without saying too much more, go read this novel. Be prepared for a slow burn, something you really need to sink your teeth into and deep dive into. It was a rewarding and super enjoyable read.
